Village life

Pakistan is an agricultural country and four-fifths of its population lives in  villages.A village is made up of mud houses, with narrow lanes and streets and with no system of drainage. There  are heaps of rubbish and rows of dung cakes. Some villages are big while others are comparatively small. These villages are cut off from the cities and have a different kind of life. It is very simple and monotonous throughout.

The villages are populated mostly by farmers. They lead a simple life and their desires are few. They are contented with what they have and never dream of these luxuries and comforts that modern science has provided us with ample measure. They cultivate their farms situated in the neighborhood of the village. They go to their fields in the morning where they work till evening, ploughing, sowing or reaping according to the season. They grow cotton, wheat, corn,  vegetable and fruits for us.

The village folks are really the backbone of our country. Some villagers are shopkeepers. They provide the necessities of life to the villagers. Others work as cobblers, potters,  weavers, blacksmiths and carpenters to fulfil their needs.

The climate of the village is good and the villagers keep good health. Not disturb the peaceful atmosphere of the villages. There is no hustle and bustle and no worry as in the city life. They use pure milk and ghee. They breath fresh air which promotes their health. The villagers, therefore,  are happy and healthy.
